My interest in photography started at a young age when my father taught me how to develop my own film. In complete darkness, I would wind the film around metal reels, which meant every thing was done by touch and intuition. I confront photographing in the same way. Feeling my way though a moment and capturing it in a visceral manner. Photographing only with film, my images grasp simple narrative events; normally forgotten but which form the complexity of nostalgia. Events are observed and captured in silence but represent a moment of being.
